Website Re construction

Last night I met with Randy and Daniel at Kalbi Burger  (http://kalbiburger.com/) to discuss the content that is currently on the Junior Preneurs website and what needs to be put on there (http://www.juniorpreneurs.org/). We are working on so much that at times we get lost but after last nights meeting I am certain that we are back and up to something big. So now it is up to Randy and I to get the website in order and but some content on there, and that is exactly what we will be working on in the up coming weeks. The Take Over

Last week the energy was high, deals were made and closed and the leadership has moved. As part of this project Randy would hand the leadership off to someone else and eventually Junior-Prenuers would run on its own. Last week that was done this program is now under the leadership of Monica and I and I must say the energy is a lot higher! We were also able to secure or location at Crenshaw High the only issue is that date has changed but that’s a plus because it gives us more time to prepare. We are on the track and everything is falling into place and I am soooooo excited. Its one thing to constantly receive but there is nothing greater than giving back! 25 Million

Last nights meeting was productive and I can't believe that March 13th is almost here, as of last night we were on meeting #9 and it seems like the time has flew by. The momentum is high and we are all excited, raffle tickets are out and we are fund raising our butts off. There were so many topics of discussion in the room last night along with the Junior-Prenuer project in particular a conversation about raising 25 million a month for real estate investments, it sounds crazy but it’s very possible and it could very well be one of the best things to happen since Obama became President. But well will revisit that later, last night we did another presentation of what the program would look like and this portion was on Finance and the presentation was given by the creator of Junior-Preneurs Randy. His presentation was great high energy, interactive, informative and playful. We only have a few more meetings and before you know it will be show time. Welcome Back!

Last nights meeting went way passed our 9pm end time, but it was worth it! Guy has come back to the group and he is feeling and doing much better, so welcome back Guy! It's the first week of February and our pilot project is just around the corner! Although our group is not as large as we would like it to be, we are still making a lot of progress. There are connections being made every time we meet and there is a lot of networking that will be done and will continue to be done once this project is over. Yesterday we really focused on getting people involved and why people are so afraid to do something different and change the world or even try to attempt to change the world? People are so interested and involved in things that will never make a difference that at times it is disheartening, but we are a group committed to get everyone to change their views first and their ways second. We have decided to put a "Mock" presentation together for our meeting next week and we shall see how that goes. In closing I would like to say "It is better to try and fail than to fail because you never tried".

Rain Almost Stopped Us

Morning!!!!!!! Yesterday's meeting almost didn't happen but do to commitment we were able to meet and continue to create this wonderful project. Before I go into the story I want to send my prayers and get well wishes to one of our group members Guy. Guy is in the hospital, we are all pulling for you to have a speedy recovery (please keep him in your prayers). Due to the rain it seemed almost impossible for us to have our meeting but we did, not everyone was able to show up but the show must go on. We are making a lot of progress and are in a great space for what we are creating. It’s really amazing the dedication that we are all forming towards this wonderful project. So yesterdays meeting was all about getting the ball rolling and I feel like we did that, we established time lines, dates, activities, contacts, and fundraising. After last nights meeting all of us have a lot of work to do this week and there should be plenty of updates next Thursday when we meet again. Based on the weather the energy in the room had a slight affect on us all I think but we were able to get there and get it in!!! The Energy in the Room was BANANA'S

Good Morning!!!! And HAPPY FRIDAY!! I have started another blog (clearly I am becoming a blogging fool!!!). This blog is specifically for my newest project and what I would call one of the loves of my life, Junior-Preneurs. Junior-Preneurs is a project started by my friend Randy Burton and basically the movement he has created is amazing!!! We are a group of talented, amazing, head strong leaders brought together to help our youth. What we are coming together to do is help a group of youths develop a business plan that will in return assist them in one day starting their own business. We are preparing for our March 6th pilot date and we are all excited and involved. We meet every Thursday to discuss idea's and really get the ball rolling on this project that we have all decided to make time for. This brings me to last night; if you could have been a fly on the wall in that room! The energy in that room was BANANA'S!!!! It’s an amazing feeling to be in a room with your peers and everyone is in agreeance with what is going on, not only that I could feel that everyone was mentally present. For me it is very inspiring to meet with this group of people because I see that they are all there ready and willing to make a difference and clearly that is something that we are missing in the world. If we can all get involved in something, just take part in some type of change/transformation things would turn around for everyone. There was so much knowledge and leadership in the room last night that it just kept the momentum going through our whole discussion. As we get closer to our date and we progress with this project I will keep you guys up to date.
