Rain Almost Stopped Us

Morning!!!!!!! Yesterday's meeting almost didn't happen but do to commitment we were able to meet and continue to create this wonderful project. Before I go into the story I want to send my prayers and get well wishes to one of our group members Guy. Guy is in the hospital, we are all pulling for you to have a speedy recovery (please keep him in your prayers). Due to the rain it seemed almost impossible for us to have our meeting but we did, not everyone was able to show up but the show must go on. We are making a lot of progress and are in a great space for what we are creating. It’s really amazing the dedication that we are all forming towards this wonderful project. So yesterdays meeting was all about getting the ball rolling and I feel like we did that, we established time lines, dates, activities, contacts, and fundraising. After last nights meeting all of us have a lot of work to do this week and there should be plenty of updates next Thursday when we meet again. Based on the weather the energy in the room had a slight affect on us all I think but we were able to get there and get it in!!!
